I found this website which sells these cute Catholic school girl dolls in different uniforms and different looking dolls, all girls. I couldn't figure out what the size of the dolls were as they are even more than American Girl-$139! Even though I'm not Catholic(or even Christian) I think the dolls and the uniforms are so cute and I like how they have different eye, hair lengths and colors and skin colors! By the way-make sure to look at all 3 pages of pics of the dolls!

They are 15 inches tall. They are made of a resinish type vinyl that is hard much like the Mattel AGs. They are a little overpriced, but they are still really cool.

I like that the plaid on the school uniforms is actually to scale and not just child sized plaid cut into smaller dresses.

The firm is run by five brothers, actual brothers, not monks. I have written to them in the past asking if they would consider making their uniforms in AG size. No cigar... They are set on the 15" dolls. Sigh...

    Question

They are neat! I like how you can customize them. I wonder if they would make good younger sisters for AG's?

These are cute, but I have to admit they did crack me up because the two Catholic elementary schools that I pass on my way to work have plaids that match Ebony's and Maria's.

I think those dolls are really cute although very expensive

Is it just my imagination, or are the gir ls getting older as the pages go on. (1st page-young/ 3rd page-older) ?

    thanks for the link

I'll bet their uniforms would fit the Hopscotch Hill dolls. Too bad you have to buy the whole doll!

I know about the price-my eyes bugged out when I saw the price, and I'm even more surprised that they're not even full 18in dolls. I wasn't sure of their size until someone posted it. I mean gosh, $87 is definitely more than a handful for a quality AG doll, $139 for any doll is way too much. The HSH dolls, which is almost the same size and style only cost $48 each.

I know they aren't porcelin-they're supposed to be played with, I think. But I also think that you could do the same concept by getting an AG doll of your choice and a doll school uniform(or make one if you can sew). A bigger doll and still less $ in the long run!
